Catalyze.io Completes Series A Financing

Healthcare IT company Catalyze.io announced today it closed its Series A financing round, led by Baird Capital, Arthur Ventures and Chicago Ventures. Terms were not disclosed.

“We are very excited to partner with Baird Capital, given (its) significant experience and network within healthcare,” Catalyze.io CEO Travis Good, M.D., said in a statement. “The investors bring a wealth of knowledge and resources that will play a major role in the future growth of our company.”

According to a release, the startup will use the proceeds from the financing to accelerate the development of its technology platform by scaling pilots with current enterprises, expanding product features and services and integrating additional value-add content and services partners.

Catalyze.io, which participated in gener8tor’s summer 2013 class, also announced that Don Layden of Baird Capital and James Burgum of Arthur Ventures will join its board of directors.

Angels on the Water, gener8tor, the State of Wisconsin Investment Board and individual investors also participated in the round.
