Chamber, Startups Head to Silicon Valley

Five startups will be accompanying the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce next week to Silicon Valley to meet investors, the chamber announced recently.

“We are confident these five companies will leave a lasting impression on Silicon Valley while gaining key connections and exposure at a critical time in the growth of their business,” Chamber President Zach Brandon said in a statement. “We are proud to be connecting the coast to a small sampling of the high-caliber innovation happening throughout Greater Madison.”

The Chamber and partner organizations selected Catalyze.IO, EatStreet, MdotLabs and Propeller Health to represent Madison. The fifth company, Fishidy, earned a spot by winning the inaugural Pressure Chamber.

The week includes a tour of the Facebook campus, investor meetings, pitching opportunities and a reception sponsored by the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, according to a release.
