CODAworx Launches New Website, Magazine

by Brian Lee

A month after changing its name from The Art Commission to CODAworx, the organization announced recently a new website and a digital magazine called CODAmagazine.

According to a release, the new site still houses the largest collection of commission artists with a full artwork search function, but it also now allows any member of a design team to upload images of projects. In addition, CODAworx.com offers expanded content and tools that facilitate collaboration.

Meanwhile, each of the 10 issues of CODAmagazine will center on a particular theme and highlight emerging talents in the art and design industries. Flipboard will publish the free magazine.

“Bringing the content of artists and design professionals into one immersive digital collection is an exciting way to showcase the projects being created by some of the top artists and design professionals working today,” CEO Toni Sikes said in a statement. “Flipboard provides us with an amazing outlet to distribute CODAmagazine and reach people around the world.”

The first issue will be distributed in mid-January.
