The creators of Codiqa, the software tool for developing mobile and web apps, announced today that they are transitioning its users to Ionic Creator.

According to a blog post, Ionic Creator is a “major improvement” over Codiqa.

“From all of us at Codiqa and now Ionic, we thank you for your continued support and help making an awesome product over the last four years,” Co-Founder Max Lynch said in the blog post.

Existing Codiqa customers can continue to log in and use the tool, though they’ll now have access to Creator. No new user registration of Codiqa will be available.

Lynch and Ben Sperry hatched the idea for Codiqa in 2011 and launched Ionic 1.0.0 in May 2015.
