Are you suffering from headaches, neck pain, back pain, muscle tightness or stress?

Dr. Casey Schultz opened Schultz Family Chiropractic in July 2013. After gaining some experience as an associate chiropractor, the Muscoda, Wis., native found an opportunity to open his own practice by purchasing the office from another chiropractor.

“I wanted to start my own practice because you have the freedom to run it the way you want,” Schultz said. “In the past … I saw many patients that would start care but then stop right away after how much they saw it would cost them.”

Schultz Family Chiropractic’s unique premise is that it does not deal with any insurance; instead, it offers a membership fee for services.

Patients currently pay $25 for their first visit, in which Schultz makes recommendations for treatment. From there, patients can choose a $50/month or $79/month package; if regular adjustments aren’t required, patients can pay $30/visit.

Schultz has set adjusting hours throughout the week, so patients can stop in when it fits into their schedule.

“The reason I run my office like I do is because chiropractic is a great tool for people,” Schultz said. “So my office is really about making it as convenient for my patients as possible.”
