Former Sega CEO Headlines Tech Conference

Experienced business leader and former Sega of America President and CEO Thomas Salinski will serve as the opening keynote speaker at the 15th annual Business Best Practices & Emerging Technologies Conference Oct. 1 at the Monona Terrace.

The event is organized by the University of Wisconsin’s E-Business Consortium Registration costs $395 for member companies and $495 for non-members.

Kalinske presided over the Sega Genesis during its heyday. He’s previously served as CEO of Mattel, Knowledge Universe and LeapFrog and currently is the Executive Chairman of Global Education Learning.

As usual, session tracks fall under the categories of marketing, IT and supply chain management. Other speakers include University of Wisconsin Chancellor Rebecca Blank (lunch), Starbucks SVP Steve Lovejoy (“Innovation at Starbucks and its Impact in the Global Supply Chain”) and Compuware Chief Digital Strategist Matthew David (“Thinking Beyond The App-The Mobile Engagement Platform”).
