A University of Wisconsin computer science professor named to the Internet Society’s global Hall of Fame will be among the speakers at the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, held Nov. 13-14 at the Monona Terrace.

Larry Landweber was honored in the “Innovator” category in April. He will give the opening keynote at the conference, which gives companies the opportunity to make presentations and meet with investors.

Other highlights include company presentations to angel and venture investors, elevator pitch Olympics and an investors-only seminar hosted by the Wisconsin Angel Network.

According to the Wisconsin Technology Council, which is organizing the event, participation in the conference has been a key factor for significant business growth. For more information and to register for the conference, please visit www.wisearlystage.com.
