Ionic has released a beta version of its Progressive Web Apps (PWA) Toolkit, the company announced recently.
“PWAs have become the de facto way to ship a great web experience to your users, but they have been very challenging to build,” Ionic Development Relations Director Justin Willis said in a blog post. “We looked at these challenges and with inspiration from the Preact CLI and the Polymer App Toolbox, realized we had a unique opportunity to create something that would make building great PWAs dead-simple.”
According to the announcement, the toolkit provides routing, stencil and push notifications setup, among other features.
The PWA Toolkit is available on GitHub.
