oneEvent Technologies Raises $1.8M

Internet of Things company oneEvent Technologies announced Tuesday that it raised $1.8 million in its first round of fundraising.

According to a release, the new capital will be used to scale pilots with insurance carriers and commercial partners.

“We received incredible interest and support from our investors,” Co-Founder and CEO Kurt Wedig said in a statement. “Our engineers are working around the clock to get the oneEvent technology to market.”

oneEvent Technologies, which is based in Mount Horeb, Wis., works with life safety, security and home automation systems.
