PerBlue Publishes Two New Games

Mobile and social gaming company PerBlue continues to churn out games, releasing Parallel Kingdom: Age of Ascension and Boardtastic Skateboarding 2 in the same week.

Age of Ascension is the fifth game in the Parallel Kingdom series, and this version allows players to explore the sky instead of land. It is free to download for both iOS and Android devices.

“What makes Parallel Kingdom (games) appealing to players is that there’s really something for everyone,” Ellie Humphrey, PerBlue’s communications coordinator, said. “If you want to play with people from all over the world, you can do that. If you prefer to play solo, you can battle monsters and build up your empire alone.”

While Age of Ascension is more for hardcore gamers, Boardtastic 2 is more for casual gamers, according to Humphrey. The game is a change of pace for PerBlue’s usual location-based genre.

“We’re having a lot of fun with it,” Humphrey said. “Players are coming in at 30,000 a day. We’re really trying to hit a new demographic.”

Boardtastic 2 is a multiplayer game in which players can compete against each other in a global ladder system. It is available for free on Android devices.
