Sensori Uses Kickstarter for SensoriOne

by Taylor Kennedy

Peter Oppermann and four other friends founded Sensori in 2013, and after almost two years of business, they announced they’re running a Kickstarter campaign for their motion-capture open platform called SensoriOne.

According to a release, SensoriOne is a small, Bluetooth-connected device that tracks motion and translates data that developers, startups and organizations can use to build their own motion-capture applications.

“We are really excited to flip the switch and get underway with our funding efforts,” Opperman said in a statement. “We’ve set an ambitious funding goal on Kickstarter, which should really prove the widespread applications for our platform.”

Kickstarter pledges run from $2 (public thank you) to $2,000 (custom attachment). The campaign concludes May 23.

The SensoriOne will be available for early bird supporters at a reduce price before it’s publicly sold in the fall of 2015.
