The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation is granting the University of Wisconsin more than $70 million for 2014-15, with $700,000 directed to law and business entrepreneurial clinics and D2P, the organization announced today.

“WARF exists to benefit UW-Madison,” Managing Director Carl Gulbrandsen said in a statement. “We support campus and competitiveness through our investments in time, expertise and funds. The annual grants are one way we’re proud to show our commitment.”

D2P, or Discovery to Product, was launched in November to expand faculty and student access to critical technology commercialization resources.
