Mastercraft Ventures, a venture capital fund supported by the Badger Fund of Funds, announced recently that it has raised $6.2 million since its launch in January.

According to a release, Badger Fund of Funds will match up to 40 percent of Mastercraft Ventures’ invested capital.

“A Badger Fund focus is addressing the Wisconsin need for first-in investors for new entrepreneurs,” Badger Fund of Funds Partner Ken Johnson said in a statement.

Mastercraft Ventures, which is located in Beloit, Wis., will target initial investments of approximately $500,000 in startup companies across a broad range of industries, technologies and products.
