Maggie Brickerman will succeed Tom Still as the next president of the Wisconsin Technology Council, the organization announced recently.

A partner at gener8tor, Brickerman has helped grow programs supporting more than 500 businesses that have collectively raised nearly $1.5 billion in follow-on investment.

“I am honored to build on Tom’s legacy,” Brickerman said in a statement. “This is a pivotal moment for Wisconsin’s tech economy, and I look forward to bringing together innovators, investors and policymakers to ensure our high-tech sector is reaching its full potential in creating wealth and jobs for all Wisconsinites.”

She will assume the role after Still, who has served as president for 23 years, retires on Oct. 3.
