HealthX Ventures announced recently that it has invested in WPS Health Solutions, a provider of health insurance and government services.

According to a release, WPS, located in Monona, Wis., will use the funding to scale its innovations and co-invest in other companies that are strategically aligned with addressing the U.S. healthcare system.

“WPS brings decades of healthcare experience and a shared vision for transforming care through innovation,” HealthX Venture Managing Partner Mark Bakken said in a statement. “Their investment strengthens our ability to support entrepreneurs who are solving real problems in healthcare and scaling solutions that matter.”

The amount invested was not disclosed.

WPS provides health insurance and benefit plan administration to private and government members.
