A company that developed technology to enable non-invasive imaging of cell therapies with 100 times greater sensitivity than existing methods won the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce’s 13th annual Pressure Chamber pitch contest held Tuesday at The Sylvee and earned an all-expenses-paid trip to meet investment firms in Silicon Valley in the fall.
CellTrack’s goal is to help cell therapies reach 10 times more patients, which has major implications for the next generation of treatment of solid tumors.
“It feels good to win and to be here,” CEO and Founder Dr. Victor Santoro Fernandes said. “I’m excited for the momentum that we will get out of this competition, and I look forward to building CellTrack up.”
CuroNow, FUDI Protein and Service ID were the other participants. The winner was decided based on judges’ scoring and audience votes.
Strudel won last year’s contest. The event is part of Forward Festival, which continues through Friday.
