Morgridge Institute for Research named Eric Perreault its next chief executive officer, the company announced recently.
Perreault previously served as Northwestern’s vice president for research from 2023-26 and also has been associate dean for research in the university’s McCormick School of Engineering and chair of its Department of Biomedical Engineering.
“Eric Perreault embodies a core ethos of the Morgridge Institute: rigorous science paired with a genuine drive to see it have significant impact outside the lab,” WARF CEO Erik Iverson said in a statement. “His work bridging neuroscience, biomechanics and rehabilitation technologies is a model for the interdisciplinary, curiosity-driven research Morgridge was built to advance, and he understands the institute’s vital role in complementing UW–Madison’s excellence.”
Perreault will assume the new position in early 2027.
