Verstyle, a men’s fashion startup, announced recently that it will open preorders for its first product, the Loafer, on Oct. 20.
According to a release, Madison-native Nate Ruprecht founded the company to elevate confidence in young professionals.
“Since COVID, dress codes have relaxed, and a lot of people have stopped putting thought into how they show up,” Ruprecht said in a statement. “That’s exactly why dressing with intention holds more weight now than ever. It builds your confidence, earns respect, and helps you stand out at the moments that matter most early in your career. Verstyle is built for the young professional who’s ready to show up as who he’s becoming.”
The bootstrapped company is funding its first production run through preorders, with production beginning once 140 orders are reached. The Loafer features an interchangeable horsebit system with gold, silver and gunmetal black options and retails for $249.
Ruprecht started the company while studying accounting at the University of St. Thomas, where he graduated in May 2026.
