Madworks Accelerator by StartingBlock announced recently that it is accepting applications for its next cohort until Feb. 1.

The program takes place March 11 through June 3 at StartingBlock Madison.

According to a website, each participating company receives a $5,000 grant, a one-year membership at StartingBlock and additional follow-up programming in the fall. Participants must be able to commit 20 hours a week minimum to working on their venture, including active attendance and participation in Madworks classes and mentor sessions.

The accelerator is accepting eight companies.
