Phoenix-Aid, the 2025 Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest winner, was selected to the inaugural cohort of the UW-Green Bay Pre-Accelerator, gener8tor announced recently.
According to a release, the university partnered with gener8tor to create the no-equity startup accelerator that supports early-stage founders in Brown County and the Northeast Wisconsin region.
“gener8tor’s impact in a community is significant, especially alongside a strong partner as UW-Green Bay” gBETA VP and gener8tor Partner Vanessa Huerta said in a statement. “Through this partnership, local founders will receive tailored mentoring and coaching to sharpen their ideas, strengthen their business models and accelerate their growth.”
Phoenix-Aid is joined by Copacati, MyVendue, SecAsset and TEST MEKA.
The seven-week program provides founders with concierge coaching and access to a national network of mentors, customers, corporate partners and investors. Once the program is complete, companies will pitch to the public in January.
