Recovery.com has acquired RedFox AI, reinforcing its commitment to responsible AI innovation and setting the stage for the development of new AI-powered tools to better connect people with care, the company announced recently.
“We see AI as a powerful tool to advance our mission of building the best place online to find mental health and addiction treatment,” Recovery.com’s CEO and Co-Founder Ben Camp said in a statement. “We’ve already started weaving AI into our product and internal workflows, and the addition of the RedFox team will help us accelerate that work while keeping trust, safety, and patient focus at the center.”
According to a release, RedFox AI’s underlying architecture–a constrained retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) approach designed to minimize hallucinations–aligns with Recovery.com’s mission for building responsible AI in behavioral health.
RedFox AI’s co-founders, Nick Myers and Brett Brooks, will join the Recovery.com team.
RehabPath acquired and rebranded as Recovery.com in 2024.
