StartingBlock has received $75,000 through the 2025 Growth Accelerator Fund Competition, which is awarded by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the organization announced recently.

“We are thrilled that our federal partners understand and value the work that StartingBlock is doing in the Madison ecosystem,” StartingBlock Madison CEO Scott Mosley said in a statement. “We are looking forward to partnering with regional government, industry and university partners to further entrepreneurship in south central Wisconsin.”

According to a release, the funds will help StartingBlock enhance support for entrepreneurs working across key regional industry sectors, including advanced manufacturing, agricultural technology, clean energy, health technology and information technology.

The organization was one of 76 selected nationwide and also earned the award in 2023.
