In conjunction with launching its newest program, gBETA, gener8tor will host a LiveBETA investor reception from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 at Coopers Tavern, the organization announced today.

According to a release, gBETA is a program designed to support startups and entrepreneurs affiliated with Wisconsin colleges and universities. The first cohort will begin its pitches at 7 p.m.

• Cheddah – a mobile app platform that provides an efficient channel for brands and market researchers to gain real-time, quantitative data on Millennials
• EnsoData – a software that analyzes polysomnograph data to identify sleep apnea events
• Tixora – an online marketplace for intercity motorcoach bus tickets
• WeightUp Solutions – wristbands that track individuals’ weightlifting performance data
• Wintermute – a virtual phone line via mobile and web apps that enables users to have multiple phone numbers on any Internet-enabled device

The event is free to attend but by invitation only.
