Launch Day for gener8tor’s Summer Class

by Brian Lee

Five startups conclude their time in gener8tor‘s 12-week accelerator program beginning at 5 tonight at Turner Hall in Milwaukee, where they will pitch their companies to an audience of investors and fellow entrepreneurs.

“By bringing companies to Milwaukee, we are thrilled that gener8tor has become a
‘brain gain’ for the state of Wisconsin,” gener8tor Co‐Founder Joe Kirgues said in a statement.

OpenHomes, founded by former State Representative Kelda Roys, is the only Madison-based company. It uses technology to connect home buyers and sellers as well as help real estate agents serve their clients better and more efficiently.

Three other companies–Catalyze.IO (Milwaukee), Docalytics (Minneapolis) and Optyn (Chicago)–are from the Midwest. DeckPresenter hails from Austin, Texas.

As previously announced, serial entrepreneur Brian Wiegand will be the keynote speaker.

Ticketing for the event is by invitation and request. Inquiries should be sent to joe@gener8tor.com.
