University of Wisconsin students and the general public will once again have the chance to meet with area startups at the 2014 Madison Startup Fair taking place from noon-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery.

According to the event host, Capital Entrepreneurs, the goal of the free fair is to connect startups with potential interns and full-time employees, as well as raise the awareness of Madison startups on campus.

Some of the emerging companies slated to be on hand include PerBlue, Murfie, MobileIgniter, GoStrive, Fishidy, EatStreet and MobCraft.

Last year’s event saw 150 people attend.
