TechStars co-founder Brad Feld will serve as the keynote speaker for the Wisconsin Technology Council’s annual Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium, held Nov. 5-6 at the Monona Terrace.

“We’re excited to have Brad Feld address this year’s symposium and to help set the tone for a continued conversation about Wisconsin’s evolving startup scene,” Tom Still, president of the Tech Council, said in a statement.

Feld, who has been an early stage investor and entrepreneur for more than 20 years, will speak live via teleconference at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday. Attendees will receive a free copy of his book, Startup Communities.

Other highlights of the conference include the Elevator Pitch Olympics and a “First Look” forum that showcases potential breakthroughs in medical imaging, biotechnology and IT.
