TitletownTech has reportedly led a $3.3 million seed funding round for Allergy Amulet, which is developing a consumer food allergen sensor.

According to news reports, Allergy Amulet will use the funding to expand its product offerings to cover more allergens, manufacture beta units, launch pre-orders, expand its team, add additional restaurant and company partners and further educate consumers on the benefits of additional food allergen management tools.

The company will begin taking pre-orders of its allergy management package in October and launch in fall 2021. Currently, Allergy Amulet plans to offer tests for the top eight most common food allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, fish, shellfish, wheat, eggs, milk, and soy) as well as gluten and sesame.
