The Wisconsin Technology Council announced recently that it will honor Cory Nettles with the Ken Hendricks Memorial “Seize the Day” award during the Wisconsin Entrepreneurs’ Conference taking place June 1-2 in Milwaukee.

According to a release, the award celebrates entrepreneurial leaders who have been crucial to Wisconsin’s economic growth and have shown persistence in building their companies.

Nettles is the founder of Generation Growth Capital and was an architect of the state’s early-stage tax-credit law, the Qualified New Business Venture program, which still remains today.

Don Zietlow of Kwik Trip won the award in 2021.
