2024 Madison College Challenge

A company that will use technology to increase efficiency at airports won the 12th annual Madison College Challenge held today at Madison College’s Truax Campus.

D-Namic Aircraft Services was founded by Mauricio Zuleta, who beat out four other finalists to win $5,000.

“This feels great. I’m proud that this type of technology can be based here in Madison with all our partners and the local industry,” Zuleta, a former pilot with the Colombian Aerospace Force, said. “I know our technology will have a huge impact on the economy.”

LionSpirit Skincare placed second ($3,000), and Impact Academy took third ($2,000).

The competition was open to any credit or non-credit student who has not already been a Madison College Challenge finalist.

Individuals from Madison Gas & Electric, Summit Credit Union, Clearly Building Corp., Findorff and Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation served as judges.

Editor’s note: our editor-in-chief served as a mentor to several of the finalists.
