DotCom Therapy announced today that it has been approved to accept Medicaid payments to provide behavioral, speech and occupational therapy to children in Wisconsin.

“Our goal has always been to break down barriers to care for every child and family that can benefit from the flexibility of teletherapy,” President and Founder Rachel Mack Robinson said in a statement. “That’s why including Medicaid into our health plan contracts has always been a key initiative.”

According to a release, accepting Medicaid will expand DotCom Therapy’s ability to provide help to children, especially those covered by the state’s BadgerCare Plus program, and it will broaden its partnerships with health systems.

DotCom Therapy also announced that it plans to expand to other state Medicaid programs, though no timeline was provided.
