The Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce today announced the five finalists for its annual Pressure Chamber pitch contest, to be held virtually from 1:30-3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 14 as part of Forward Festival.

All of the finalists are Madison-area based: Cultured Decadence, Last Lock, Pyran, RehabPath and Talent Bandit.

“Now more than ever, we are thrilled to provide this important platform to showcase emerging companies that are helping drive the future of Greater Madison’s economy,” Chamber President Zach Brandon said in a statement. “It is encouraging to see the tremendous innovation occurring in our region, even during challenging times, and a good sign for our economic recovery.”

Similar to past years, companies will pitch their business to a panel of national investors and a regional business audience. The winning company also received a trip to Silicon Valley to meet with investment firms in October.

American Provenance won the competition last year.
