Gener8tor’s New Fund Worth $2.1M

Startup accelerator gener8tor continues to gain support, as it announced this week it raised $2.1 million in its latest fundraising efforts.

“(The financial support) gives us a lot of credibility to go out, recruit and invest in the best startups in Wisconsin and beyond,” gener8tor Co-Founder Troy Vosseller said. “We’re honored to broaden our base of investors, which also helps with follow-on financing for our portfolio companies given that more investors have skin in the game.”

According to a release, CSA Partners Venture Management, Wisconsin Investment Partners and individual investors contributed to “gener8tor Fund II,” which will be used for operations and investments of the gener8tor companies.

Vosseller noted this fundraising round was “easier, which I attribute to us building a track record for ourselves and being a known entity on the scene versus a newcomer.”
