The Wisconsin Technology Council announced recently that it will induct Joe Hildebrandt into its George Mosher Memorial Investor Hall of Fame during the Wisconsin Early Stage Symposium taking place Nov. 9-10 at the Monona Terrace.

According to a release, the Investor Hall of Fame was created to highlight the importance of angel and venture investors to the early-stage economy.

“Joe Hildebrandt has been at the core of Wisconsin’s early-stage economy for decades, working with and investing in young companies and serving as a trusted public policy advisor,” Tech Council President Tom Still said in a statement. “Through his quiet, patient style, Hildebrandt has consistently stepped forward to help young companies and entrepreneurs.”

Hildebrandt has invested in more than 80 private companies and co-founded Wisconsin early-stage funds DaneVest Tech Fund and Phenomenelle Angels Fund. He also is a partner emeritus at Foley & Lardner LLP.

Wisconsin Investment Partners Co-Manager Bob Wood was inducted in 2021.
