LUM Launches Initiative to Support to Artists

by Taylor Kennedy

Live Undiscovered Music (LUM) announced recently that it has launched an initiative called LUM Cares to help financially support artists during the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to a release, LUM is giving fans and artists their first 200 Notes–an equivalent to the financial value of a stream–for free. The company also is matching 20 percent of all Notes purchased and will be depositing the additional Notes directly into each purchaser’s LUM wallet.

“The number of people reached with this initiative is directly correlated to the amount of support driven to the artist on LUM as well as the hundreds of new artists joining every day,” the LUM team said in a statement. “Artists need our help more than ever, and the LUM community thanks you for your support.”

LUM also will be forgoing profits to fund the LUM Cares initiative.
