Redox announced today it is integrating with Microsoft Teams to help clinicians and caregivers communicate patient data.

“The advent of Microsoft Teams illustrates the tremendous change in how people and teams in all industries get work done, and healthcare is no exception,” Redox President Niko Skievaski said in a statement. “Redox simplifies integration to a single connection and data format. An integration powered by Redox represents reusable infrastructure already in place at 450 healthcare organizations.”

According to a release, Redox helps providers adopt Microsoft Teams with minimal IT resources. The integration will enable secure, bidirectional data exchange with electronic health record (EHR) software at provider organizations using the Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) standard.
