Six local businesses will receive an SBIR Advance grant, the Center for Technology Commercialization and the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation announced recently.

The local recipients for Phase I are ChloBis Water (Madison) and Neurosetta (Madison), and the Phase II recipients are AIQ Solutions (Madison), GoDx (Madison), IF (Stoughton) and PhylloTech (Middleton).

As previously reported, SBIR Advance matches grants up to $75,000 for Phase I and $100,000 for Phase II. The program provides assistance to companies in the process of completing a project in the federal Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) or Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) programs.
