A Madison-based company that delivers advanced monitoring and grid-enhancing technology solutions to help utilities secure and optimize critical infrastructure won the 2026 Launch Wisconsin, held Oct. 6 at Marquette University’s Alumni Memorial Union in Milwaukee.

Skylark Energy Solutions, founded in 2024, earned $50,000 in the competition, which was previously called the Wisconsin Governor’s Business Plan Contest. 

The category winners, all hailing from Madison, were BeachEase (Consumer Tech), Induction Technologies (Enterprise Tech) and CellTrack (Health Tech). Skylark Energy Solutions also won the Deep Tech category.
