StartingBlock is launching Her Network, a new monthly event series focused on building connections among Madison women in business, the organization announced today.

The series will be hosted by Mel Butcher, a workplace and self-leadership consultant with more than 15 years of professional experience. Participants will be able to network and collaborate ideas with like-minded women.

“With Mel’s decade of engineering and consulting experience combined with her passion for accelerating women in leadership, I’m confident Her Network will soon be a catalyst for unlocked potential and realized dreams in businesses throughout Madison,” StartingBlock Executive Director Scott Mosley said in a statement.

The first event will take place from 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 18. Coffee and pastries will be included.
