StartingBlock Madison announced recently that 22 members have received funds through its grant program, which was launched earlier this month.

According to a release, the members receiving up to $2,500 each are Acme Nerd Games, Alpen Life/Inland Alpine, Inc., Chefs for Seniors, Cockpit Mobile, Ethical Trading Company, Fair Opportunity Project, Institute for Surgical Coaching Inc., Pure Somni, Social Company, Soha Diamond Co. Virtual United, Gyld – The Skilled Trades Network, Rebate Bus, CityFixr, Step Up: Equity Matters, Bravevird LLC, Doyenne, Carepool Innovation Inc., Fenrici Brands, LUM, VOLO, Blu Diagnostics and Bravebird.

To receive the grant, the StartingBlock company must have a hardship caused or initiative generated by COVID-19, and the funds will address a company or community need or opportunity due to COVID-19.
