The annual Transcend Madison startup competition for University of Wisconsin students will take place the week of April 19, the organizers announced recently.

The university’s first student-led innovation competition includes prizes worth more than $55,000. For a team to maintain its eligibility, they must attend the intellectual property seminar (Weeks of March 1 and March 8), project review session (Weeks of March 15 and March 27) and pitch coaching session (Week of April 12).

Applications can be done here until 11:59 p.m. Friday, Feb. 26.

Past winners have included Drip Drinks and LineLeap. The competition was canceled in 2020.
