Transfur, a comprehensive referral management platform for the vet industry, announced today that it has launched.

The company is the first startup to emerge and receive an investment from Varsity Venture Studio, a collaborative venture studio among the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) and High Alpha Innovation.

“With today’s launch of Transfur, we’re delivering on Varisty Venture Studio’s promise to turn our campus community’s brightest ideas into software businesses,” WARF CEO Erik Iverson said in a statement. “I couldn’t be more excited to see what the Transfur team is going to accomplish from here.”

According to a release, Transfur makes it easy for veterinarians to request, send, manage and review medical records.

Transfur emerged successfully out of 150 submissions.
