Understory unveiled Atmosphere, its real-time air quality and weather monitoring technology, at the 9th Annual Sustainable Innovation Forum in Poland, the company announced recently.

According to a release, Atmosphere, which is live in Dallas, pinpoints dense areas of pollution and the accountable polluters to help municipalities allocate resources and make decisions to improve air quality.

“Without weather, air quality is only seen through a static lense,” Understory CEO Alex Kubicek said in a statement. “Marrying weather and air quality together in one network allows it to be seen as it truly is, incredible dynamic. Accurate, real-time weather and air quality data allow us to understand a city’s air quality on a very granular level across time.”

Understory intends to expand Atmosphere to cities around the world throughout 2019.
